Comparison

The best Jellyfin, Emby and Navidrome music clients, compared.

Last checked

The listed players are the ones that are more or less stable and obviously not a vibe coded 1-day solutions which gets abandoned in just 1-2 releases or quietly turning to be paid solutions after few dozen of ppl start to use it.

I found these players while as usual checking jellyfin, emby and selfhosted subreddits, so if I miss any good solution - just let me know(file a github issue or join discord). Please keep in mind these are music only players, so I didnt include any video or TV players.

These projects ship constantly and this page will go stale between checks. If a cell is out of date - especially one that flatters us - open an issue and it gets fixed. Each column was verified against that project’s own documentation, linked from its name in the table.
